The situation of social, economic and political alarm in Venezuela is a serious concern at the international level. Every day, thousands of Venezuelans are forced to leave their country for other areas of greater stability, and peripheral countries are experiencing a large influx of Venezuelans who need to seek new life opportunities until their country's situation is somehow stabilized. As it cannot be any other way, this fact affects both the country of origin of the migrants and those other countries that receive so many people. What does this crisis mean for the receiving countries? All Latin America is influenced by this phenomenon in one way or another and not everywhere the situation is taken with the same perspective. It is difficult for a single country to adequately sustain the dignified life of so many people who arrive with nothing in their hands and who leave all their possessions behind in search of a new home to take them in.

However, the large number of people who arrive makes this work impossible for the social services of some countries. This creates an imbalance that is very difficult to deal with. New opportunities On the other hand, one must also be able to appreciate the positive side of the crises and understand that international cooperation, the rational organization of migrants and the development of their potential as active agents in society will be crucial in restoring the balance. This is because many of these people arrive with their goods and make expenditures in the host country for their own survival.

Similarly, the population has a high percentage of people of working age who become active values for a society that knows how to take advantage of this factor, so the relative youth of the new population increases the number of economically and laboriously active people in the country of arrival, thus increasing the economic potential. There is already a great deal of data indicating that the economy, consumption and investment are growing directly as a result of the contribution of migrants. To enhance these benefits it is important that the administrations and governments of the countries legislate for the benefit of the labour and social integration of the arrivals.
